Aiming for Freedom

  • 864 South Undermountain Rd. Sheffield, Massachusets 01257 (map)

Aiming for Freedom is a weekend of events (October 11 & 12) with SAEDi Collective.

We will be hosting a series of panel discussions inspired by the Aiming for Freedom traveling art exhibition.

Focus will be around engaging on histories and possible futures of Black and Indigenous freedom struggles.

On Saturday and Sunday there will be morning and afternoon panels (10am-12pm & 1-3pm) with lunch in between.

On Sunday at around 4pm we will do a reading of Frederick Douglass’ speech, “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?”

Event is held in the barn at Racebrook Lodge as well as the front steps of the tavern.
