At Mumbet’s Freedom Farm, we honor ancestral conneciton and legacy by creating medicines. Working with medicinal plants that grow on the land and herbs that we sow in our gardens, we work with the moon cycles and special dates to create very small batch formulations.
When foraging on the land we think about whether the plant is plentiful—ie not endangered in the area, do we know it, and how has the plant introduced itself to us? We also work with the intentions of making medicine in the moment.
We work with fresh and dry plant material, oils, alcohols, essential oils, waters, and glycerins to make our formulas. Keeping in mind that formulations are very small batch, we share them here as a way to be introduced to the plant(s), the particular season we may be in, time and space points, and the portal we created for the medicine to activate. Our herbal formulations are an invitation to tune in to the subtle ways plants communicate and move through and with us.
We offer our medicines at sliding scale, ranging from free/mutual aid share - full retail cost. Please note shipping costs are still calculated for folks requesting the mutual aid share.

Creativity
As a collective, we bring many different mediums to the table as artists and creatives. Our programming reflects this, ranging from offering writing workshops, to intuitive movement sessions, as well as building performance pieces.
We also offer workshops for fellow makers and creatives, skill-shares, and retreats.
