With full hearts we invite you to our final Gratitude Celebration at Mumbet’s Freedom Farm.
For the past 5 years, this land has been our teacher, our sanctuary, and our gathering place. Together, we have tended the soil, planted seeds, harvested fruits and vegetables, and built bonds of community that have carried us through both joyful and challenging times. This farm has been more than a place to grow food—it has been a place of healing, learning, and belonging.
We give thanks for the children who have run freely here, learning from the Earth and offering their laughter as medicine to the land. We honor the families who came to share meals, stories, and prayers, giving their time, energy, and love.
We remember the stewards and organizations who stood beside us in collaboration, pouring care into the soil and into the hearts of one another.
Through grief and through celebration, this land has held us. It has offered safety when the world felt heavy. It has reminded us of resilience, of renewal, and of the abundance that comes when we gather together.
Truly, it has been an honor to be in relationship with this sacred ground and with all of you who have walked this path with us and continue to do so in every iteration of the cooperative we have created here.
Now, as we close this season, we will gather to celebrate all that has been planted, nurtured, and harvested—both in the soil and in our spirits.
We are excited to be in collaboration with Dr. Melchor Hall & Moving Potential for this final Gratitude Day!
