Join us on Saturday September 27th in Brooklyn at the Amboy Community Garden for part 2 of our Growing with Cotton Series where we will be processing cotton.

This will be a collective experience of engaging with cotton to learn more about its agricultural stories through sensory based exploration, reflective storytelling, and agricultural skill sharing.

During our time together we will have walkthrough demonstrations of harvesting and processing cotton bolls to make a keepsake.

Connecting with Cotton is a collective series by Deep Routes and Mumbet’s Freedom Farm via CURE.

C.U.R.E. (Cultivating Understanding and Restoring the Earth) is a series by Mumbet’s Freedom Farm intending to nourish and center the experiences of those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and anyone with an inherited history of colonization in the Americas.
