Join us for our monthly Labor of Love Work Party. This month we will be focusing on supporting the farm in its time of harvest and culling and preserving its fruits for the winter. We are joined this month by lex, who will share techniques for seed saving, a practice we adore at the farm to highlight the abundance and generosity of the earth. In the afternoon we will be joined by Krista Speroni of True Foods for a flavorful afternoon of making fire roasted tomatoes at Mumbet's Freedom Farm. We will process tomatoes sourced from Gathered Waters farm in community with you & one of our oldest ancestors, fire. Learn & share food preservation tips when it comes to making use of the tail end of this season's tomato harvest.
